Requirements to Ride

Everything you need to start your Aldin journey.

Smartphone

Download the Aldin app on iOS or Android to unlock and ride bikes.

Valid ID

University student ID or Ghana Card for account verification.

Payment Method

Mobile money or debit/credit card linked to your account.

Age 16+

Riders must be at least 16 years old to use Aldin bikes.

How to Report Issues

Found a problem with a bike? Report it directly from the app in just a few taps.

Open the Aldin App

Launch the app and go to your current ride or ride history.

Tap "Report Issue"

Find the report button in the ride details or menu.

Select Issue Type

Choose from brake issues, flat tire, lock problem, or other.

Submit Report

Add optional details or photos and submit. Our team will handle it!

How do I create an account?

Download the Aldin app, enter your phone number, verify with OTP, and complete your profile with your ID and payment method.

How much does it cost to ride?

Standard bikes cost GH₵1 to unlock + GH₵0.30 per minute. E-bikes cost GH₵2 to unlock + GH₵0.50 per minute.

What payment methods are accepted?

We accept Mobile Money (MTN, Vodafone, AirtelTigo) and debit/credit cards (Visa, Mastercard). Absa cardholders get special discounts!

What if the bike breaks down during my ride?

Report the issue in the app immediately. You won't be charged for time after reporting, and our team will assist you.

Can I pause my ride?

Yes! Use the "Pause Ride" feature in the app. A reduced rate applies during paused time to hold the bike for you.

Where can I park the bike?

Park at designated Aldin zones shown in the app. Parking outside these zones may result in a small fee.

What happens if I damage a bike?

Report any damage immediately. Intentional damage or negligence may result in repair charges as outlined in our terms of service.

How do I get a refund?

Contact support via WhatsApp or email with your ride details. Refunds for valid issues are processed within 3-5 business days.
